When you submit an enquiry we collect the name you give us, the email address or telephone number you give us, your preferred method of reply, how you were introduced (optional), and the content of your message.

If you arrive from an advertisement or a campaign link, we also record the campaign parameters carried in that link (for example utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and gclid) so we can understand which campaigns produce genuine enquiries.

If you contact us by telephone, email or WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us in that message. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and its own terms and privacy policy apply to messages you send through it.

We do not collect payment details, identity documents or special category data through this website.

We use enquiry data to respond to you and to discuss whether we can act for you. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have approached us about a service and expect a reply. Where you consent to analytics cookies, our lawful basis for that processing is your consent.

If we go on to act for you, personal data is then processed to perform our contract with you, and is covered by the arrangement agreed between us rather than by this website notice.

Enquiries are seen only by those within the house who need to answer them. All staff are bound by confidentiality obligations.

We rely on a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions: our website host, our email provider, our form-delivery provider and, where you have consented, Google Analytics. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.

Some of these providers operate outside the United Kingdom. Where data is transferred abroad it is protected by UK adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses.

Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted, so that we can recognise a returning enquirer and answer in context. Where an enquiry becomes an engagement, records are kept for as long as we act for you and for six years afterwards, to meet legal, accounting and insurance obligations.

Under UK data protection law you may ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests, and ask us to transfer it to another provider. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or by telephone on 0303 123 1113. We would ask that you raise it with us first.

The site is served entirely over HTTPS and enquiry data is transmitted encrypted. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send confidential details through the enquiry form. Tell us you would like to speak and we will arrange it.
